Ingredients

  • 2 frozen unsweetened açaí puree packets 3.5 ounces each (100 grams each), broken into pieces
  • 1 medium frozen banana sliced, about 4 ounces peeled (115 grams)
  • 1/4 cup milk or unsweetened plant-based milk 60 milliliters, plus more only if needed
  • 1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries 75 grams
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries 75 grams
  • 1 kiwi peeled and sliced, about 3 ounces (85 grams)
  • 1/2 cup granola 55 grams
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut 10 grams
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional (15 milliliters)

Instructions

  • Set out two serving bowls and prepare the toppings so they are ready as soon as the açaí base is blended.
  • Add the frozen açaí pieces, frozen banana, and milk to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until the mixture is smooth, very thick, and scoopable.
  • If the blender blades will not move, add milk 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) at a time. Use only enough liquid to get the mixture moving; too much will make the bowl thin.
  • Divide the açaí mixture between the bowls. Work promptly so the base stays thick and frosty.
  • Arrange the strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, granola, and coconut over each bowl. Drizzle with honey, if using, and serve immediately.
